SASH (Sexual Abuse Support and Healing) hold the MSD contract to deliver support for victims of sexual violence on the West Coast.
This will involve working with people of all ages and genders who have been sexually harmed, and sometimes their whānau too.
Your role as a Case Manager will be to support the victim towards healing, and may include referrals to other agencies, to ACC sensitive claims counsellors, support with the Police and in Court, and many other areas of support.
A good knowledge of the effects of sexual harm, both long and short term will be required, plus an ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role is part time (20 hours initially).
