Child Protection Coordinator – Te Puaruruhau Starship, Child Health, Auckland DHB

We are seeking a Child Protection Coordinator to support the maintenance and development of effective and integrated systems for child protection across the Auckland DHB and the greater Auckland region.

This role will be substantively located at Te Puaruruhau, an internationally-recognised centre of excellence in multi-disciplinary child protection practice, and will work across the multiple directorates within the Auckland District Health Board. Te Puaruruhau provides advice, support and clinical intervention for suspected child abuse and neglect, and provides a regional and national resource in practice, policy, research and teaching.

Drawing on your best practice knowledge, together with Te Puaruruhau and Auckland DHB social work leadership and colleagues from multiple professional disciplines, you will work with directorates across ADHB to assist in developing their service vision and future plans in order to support a safe and collaborative response to at-risk children, young people, pregnant women and their families.
