Mental Health and Addiction Clinicians – Hawke’s Bay
Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi. Engari, he toa takitini.
Success is not the work of one, but the work of many.
Due to growth and demand within Hawke’s Bay District Health Board, our mental health and addiction services are looking for registered clinicians to join our talented teams.
Mental well-being is one of the most valuable business assets. Workplaces that prioritise mental health have better engagement, reduced absenteeism and higher productivity, while people have improved well-being, greater morale and higher job satisfaction. Hawke’s Bay District Health Board recognise this and value our staff with a strong emphasis on working together in a collaborative effort to provide a leading edge service to our community.

Why work for us? Just ask Andrew McGarrol – Associate Clinical Nurse Manager – Community Mental Health
‘I feel privileged to be working in an integrated service where addictions and mental health fit under the one umbrella. It’s truly amazing to work in a multidisciplinary team that fosters skills, knowledge and passion for supporting our whānau who need it. The ability to walk the same path or even having different viewpoints can create a bubble of innovation to continually improve in what we do. This is evident with our service improvements of Home Base Treatment, Central Coordination Service and Recovery groups. This all fits in a model of care that will be refined over time.’
