Professional Experience: I have worked as an external clinical supervisor since 2001.
I provide supervision across the social sector in palliative care, child and family work, community mental health, alternative education, work with older people, LGBQTI and gender diversity, violence treatment and prevention services and refugee and migrant services. I supervise tertiary students.My practice experience is in Mental health, Family and group work, Traumatic impact, Sexual Abuse-both victims and perpetrators, Leadership and Employment matters, Career development
Supervision Interests I aim for a warm relaxed relationship with my clients,
I invite them to reflect on their work with their clients, with their peers and in their own families. My approach respects culture and diversity and is underpinned by Te Tiriti o Waitangi.I encourage open discussion of complex issues which allows clients to make a plan for action in line with best practice.
