Our social science research team at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) is inviting social workers and social service providers to take part in a study on supporting whānau caring for loved ones with mate wareware (dementia) and We are looking for participants!

Co-Producing a Curriculum on Autism for the Aotearoa Mental Health & Addictions Workforce

Participation Criteria:
We are currently recruiting professionals to participate in online focus groups or interviews. Eligibility criteria are as follows:
(1) Registered medical, nursing or allied professional, or Pukenga Atawhai (specialist Māori mental health worker)
(2) Is currently employed or has previous employment (within the past five years) within the mental health and addictions workforce in Aotearoa.
This may include employment via Te Whatu Ora, a non-governmental organisation (e.g., Emerge Aotearoa, Wise Group), or private practice Please note that interview/focus group participants will be eligible, but not required to participate in the second and third phases of this project.

Exploring the benefit of social workers working with vulnerable youth within the Alternative Education space.

Participation Criteria: The criteria for participation are that you are a registered social worker with the SWRB with a minimum of two years’ experience in a social service organization.
