Sam Ford is a Senior Advisor in the Oranga Tamariki Practice Design Team. She has a background in social work, adult learning and capability development, secondary teaching and practice design. Sam has been working in the Information Sharing project to socialise the information provisions within Oranga Tamariki and the wider child welfare ad protection sector.
Alex McLean is a Registered Social Worker what has been in the Ministry, and Its previous inceptions, since 1996 in various roles from frontline to National Office. Alex is a Senior Advisor in the Oranga Tamariki Operational Policy Team and has working in the Information Sharing project to socialise the information provisions within Oranga Tamariki and the wider child welfare ad protection sector.
Abstract
This webinar is designed primarily for NGO social workers and those outside of Oranga Tamariki. It has been developed to support those in the child welfare and protection sector to understand and use the Oranga Tamariki Act information sharing provisions. It covers who can share, the purpose of sharing, what can be shared and the requirements around consulting with tamariki about sharing their information.
Two sessions are being held. The sessions have the same content. Feel free to register for either.
