Motor Neuron Disease (MND) New Zealand Research Conference 2019
Date(s) - 09/12/2019
8:30 am - 5:30 pm
We’re less than a month away from hosting the inaugural MND New Zealand Research Conference at the Cordis Hotel in Auckland!
The first of its kind to be held on New Zealand soil, the conference features a star-studded line up of speakers fresh from presenting at the International Symposium on ALS/MND in Perth just a few days before.
Speakers include Professor Chris Shaw and Professor Ammar Al-Chalabi from Kings College, London, Professor Orla Hardiman from Trinity College, Dublin and Professor Martin Turner from Oxford University and Oxford MND Clinic, and we’ve just added another one to the lineup!
Dr Angela Genge has been the Director of the ALS Clinic and Research Program at Montreal University since 1998, and under her direction, the ALS (MND) clinical research program develops and tests new therapies.
Dr Genge will present her engaging talk entitled “Clinical Trial activity in ALS internationally: where are we now” at the MND New Zealand Conference.
With so many leading voices on MND in one place at one time, at just $165 ($125 for students or carers of people with MND), this is an exceptional opportunity and great value for money for anyone involved with MND research, or the care of people with MND. Ticket price also includes morning/afternoon tea and lunch.
We would love to see you there, so head to https://events.mnd.org.nz/research-conference/, and register to attend today!
