'We3' - Lisa King, Shirley Ikkala & Leisa Moorhouse, are experienced wāhine Māori social workers, supervisors, ex-academics, leaders, and critical hoa-haere. We will overview our individual supervision experiences and speak to our collective supervision journey, presenting our kaupapa ‘peer supervision’ approach, Te mauri o te hā o Hine-Ahu-One. This approach recognises the mana of wāhine (female power and authority), the sacred healing spaces of Papatuānuku (Earth Mother), mauri (the infinite source of energy available to support wellbeing), wairua (spirituality) and āhurutanga (sacred-safe spaces) to sustain, support and guide us in our service to tangata whenua and the profession of social work.
