Clinical Contractors Required Nationwide: Abuse in Care – Royal Commission of Inquiry

 

Men and Trauma New Zealand (www.menandtrauma.nz) have been contracted by the Royal Commission (www.abuseincare.org.nz) to provide mental health support services to its clients nationally.

We are seeking registered counsellors, social workers, psychologists and psychotherapists to contract to us nationwide for this important work.

You will be able to choose the scope of time involvement/hours of availability that suits you for this
project.

There are 2 parts to this work. You may choose to work in either one or both parts:
1. Community-Based – Nationwide.

We are looking to contract clinical staff (hours to suit) throughout New Zealand to work with individuals who have experienced institutional abuse. The clinical work with clients can be done either face-to-face or via Zoom from wherever you are in New Zealand.
You must be a Registered Clinician with a recognised national body.
You must have experience working with trauma or sexual abuse.
We aim to have a team where at least 50% of staff have experience in engagement with Maori and/or
Pasifika clients.

2. Prison Component – Nationwide.
We require clinical staff to work with clients in prisons throughout New Zealand.
