Men’s Family Violence Programmes Facilitator, Manawatu

 

Te Manawa Family Services is a leading provider of counselling and social work services in the Manawatu. We provide several services and programmes, including Family Violence Programmes, Youth and Parenting Programmes, Pre-Programme Support, Family and Whanau Support and Anti-bullying programmes and projects.

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified male social worker or counsellor to join our Men’s Programmes team. The role will include co-facilitation of weekly non-violence programme groups, individual non-violence programme work as well as assessments, reviews and community engagement.
Te Manawa Family Services has a full training and accreditation programme including external supervision, group supervision and regular review to ensure that all facilitators are supported in their learning and development.
While group facilitation and/or family violence experience is an advantage, we would like to hear from anyone with a passion for helping men to create safe relationships with their family and whanau.
