Senior Advisor Operational Support – Oranga Tamariki, Wellington

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Advisor to join our Services for Children and Families team based at National Office, Wellington. There is flexibility to consider working from other locations around the country for the right candidate.
This role will provide advice to our operational Senior Leaders across a range of areas of service delivery with a strong front line focus. This includes working on specific projects impacting the front line, issue management and implementing change.
In this role, you could also be involved in independent analysis of casework, reviewing and advising on service delivery performance of Social Work services to tamariki and their whānau.
Key attributes to be successful in this role include the following:
- Providing high quality advice to help make informed decisions by Senior Operational Managers
- The ability to identify trends and recommend initiatives and improvements to processes and systems that enable senior operational staff across the region to deliver high quality services to Tamariki and whānau
- The ability to build key strategic relationship with our partners across our service lines and groups within Oranga Tamariki to ensure the voice of our front line is championed and understood
- A flexible, pragmatic and solutions-focussed approach that is highly responsive
To be considered for this role, you will need to be a dynamic, agile and fast-paced senior performer who has a well-developed experience in front line delivery and the ability to build strong strategic relationships. Having the ability to influence and motivate transformative change within a complex environment will be the key to your success.
