SALARY

$45-$50,000 (incl KS/based on experience) + benefits

THE ORGANISATION

Te Tai Awa O Te Ora is a small, charitable trust in Otara and has been providing culturally appropriate social services in south Auckland for over 25 years. Our aim is to support clients who want to make changes in their lives which will prevent or reduce problems in the future.

THE JOB

We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join our team as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will demonstrate local knowledge, commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ability to work in a bi-cultural and/or multi-cultural context; experience working with Māori and/or Pasifika families would be a strong advantage.  You must have a recognised social work qualification and be eligible for registration.  Two years’ experience is preferred.  A full driver’s license and vehicle are also expected (your travel costs will be reimbursed).  Having facilitated group programmes would be an advantage.
