This Team Manager role is a unique leadership opportunity in a new approach to supporting whānau.  The role requires strong commitment to whānau led practice and be backed with sound social sector experience as a registered professional.  They will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the impact of trauma on family systems and children’s early learning and development.  The teams approach is shaped by tikanga Māori and competence in this is essential.   This position supports a team provide intensive in-home support for whānau who are vulnerable to their children going into care and supporting whānau whose children are returning home from being in care.

The Team Manager will be an active member of the leadership team and will value a strong collaborative approach to shaping the organisational strategy.  They will champion a learning culture – being open to challenge change and growth.

They will have commitment to positive social change that encompasses a strength-based approach, applying the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and holistic practices.
