Introducing Interoceptive-Based Skills to Community Social Services in Aotearoa/New Zealand - Stage Two: Skills Acquisition

You are invited to participate in a FREE two-day workshop in Tamaki Makaurau, to learn about embodied practice techniques for clients in community settings. During the workshop, you will learn basic interoceptive-based skills, explore the need for cultural and practice contextualisation of these skills, and reflect on the perceived benefits and challenges of using these skills with clients in your practice The workshop is part of doctoral participatory action research exploring the utility of introducing interoceptive-based skills for clients’ emotional regulation in the direct practice context (practice in non-office-based settings) in Aotearoa/New Zealand. The workshop will provide morning and afternoon tea each day and a $50 Koha will be provided toward transportation.
